Take a look at an electronic newspaper now available to help Bedford citizens stay aware of current issues in the city, the Bedford Citizen. It is a volunteer effort, accepts no advertising and publishes input that meets its guidelines, with a goal of publishing a new issue each Monday, Wednesday and Friday -- "subject to volunteer availability and the amount of news to report." It will report facts "except when identified as editorials, letters to the editor or opinion pieces."

"The mission of this electronic newspaper (e-news) is to increase citizen awareness of current events and thereby increase their involvement in our government's decision-making process." You can subscribe and receive issues by email or just read previous issues as they are posted to the website.
